15 Minues and Done! I just now installed it because 1) stuck at home with time on my hands and 2) I thought it was going to be a huge pain in the butt to replace the screen. It took 15 minutes, maybe less because there was some dog petting in there.
Great re-screening kit - 59Ã126 inch window screen mesh, more suitable for various sizes of DIY custom requirements. Kit comes with everything you need except for something to cut with.
EASY TO USE - Installing a screen with a screen rolling tool makes the job much easier. This essential tool is comfortable in the hand and the wheels turn smoothly to roll the screen and spline into the frame. Itâs extremely economical and adds great value to big and small screen repair jobs.
INSTALLATION TIP â The cloth and spine are inserted into the spline groove of your screen frame by applying gentle pressure using the included rolling tool. Other sizes of spline available separately if included spline does not work for your application. If slightly too thick, gently stretching the spline may help it to fit.
Multiple Functions amp; Notes - Our window screen also with sunscreen function, effectively prevent 75% of the UV into and can also be internal perspective, will not appear outside the visual field of vision is not visible. Window screen is folded in the package. If there are some creases, it would disappear after tile or hang
I'm a tiny woman with NO interest in DIY or fixing anything, but my poornes/cheapness got the better of me and I decided to go for it. Very easy if you do it
Best partner for those who like DIY
"li"The rolling tool is, indeed, plastic, but it got the job done flawlessly (the rollers are concave and convex, as they should be).
"li"I would suggest that you pay close attention to the spline size because the spline that came with this kit was too thick for my window. I actually ended up using the old spline, which worked out just fine, but if yours isn't in good shape, you may need to make a trip to your local home improvement store.
If my kids decide to punch holes in it again, I will definitely be back to purchase again.
I am a woman who is pretty handy. I will admit that I was a little nervous to take on this small project, mainly because I am a perfectionist and I envisioned it being puckered and loose.
I was nervous as I went pushing in the tubing, but I followed directions to a "T" and it looks great! It looks and feels more durable than the screen I had on there before.
